Internal Street View

This set of illustrations were produced for the award winning architects, NORD, to submit as part of their successful entry to the Wexford County Council Offices architectural competition, beating other shortlisted architects Board – Architecture and Urbanism, Bucholz McEvoy Architects, Denis Byrne Architects; MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects SRL and Patrick Harrington Architects.

When we began work with NORD on this project, there was very little in the way of design information to work from, understandable given the time constraints! But through close colaboration with the project architect we were able to quickly decide on the key views that would be required. From there the 3d massing models were used to aid the architects in their design process. As design decisions were finalised, we were able to incrementally add detail to the models until the finished illustrations took shape. In addition to producing this set of illustrations, we also produced some cladding mock-ups to test the appearance of a variety of cladding systems.
