An unusual request from my client who wanted me to depict a brick made of leather and photographed in the style of a glossy magazine car advert.

The leatherwork, beading and stitching were all modelled and textured in 3dsmax.

In addition to the brick, I was asked to create a brickie’s trowl out of luxury materials silver and leather with the client’s logo engraved into the surface of the silver. It was an interesting challenge to control the lighting and reflection-cards to achieve the subtle gradient and highlighting on the silver elements of the design.
